Can you obtain books or articles from another library?

Answer

Yes. Using an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service, we may be able to obtain an item from another library (at their discretion). The average turnaround time is 5 to 7 business days for books. The turnaround time for articles is often much less because items are typically provided electronically. We are not able to borrow textbooks.

Requests can be made on the ILL request page or via email at ILLRequest@ut.edu for articles or books.

Review the Interlibrary Loan Services Research Guide for more details.
