How do I enable UTampa Links in Google Scholar?
Answer
While on the campus network, Google recognizes your IP address and allows the Google Scholar search page to generate links to texts in the Macdonald-Kelce Library. To access full-text articles, log into MyUTampa. If you are off-campus or do not see links to the Macdonald-Kelce Library on the right-hand side of the search results page, take the following steps:
- Go to scholar.google.com
- Go to the navigation menu
- Go to Settings
- Go to Library Links
- Search for University of Tampa
- Check the boxes for University of Tampa and any other applicable library
It’s good to remember not everything will show up full-text that we have access to. You can double check by dropping a title into Spartan Search. If we still don’t have access, you can always use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.
