How do I find an item on the shelf?

Answer

The library's collection is organized by the Library of Congress call number system. Materials are grouped by subjects, which are noted by an alpha-numeric code found on the label of the item and on the side of the library shelves.

For example:

PS3515.E37 Z58256 2005, MAIN (2ND FLOOR)

Journals and magazines are shelved alphabetically by their title on the first floor of the library.

If you have trouble locating an item, see a librarian at the Research Help Desk on the first floor of the library.
