Does the library have a paper shredder?

Answer

The library does not have a shredder on-site. However, the University of Tampa has partnered with Secure On-Site Shredding (SOS) to place 19 collection bins at 17 locations across campus, two of which are located in the library. There is one paper recycling collection bin (see pictures below) located in the stairwell on the first floor of the library. The second collection bin is located in Lab 106 on the right side near the window. Paper from the bins is collected bi-weekly. The containers are locked, and dropped items will be shredded upon pickup. SOS will take office paper, Post-it notes, magazines and newsprint, but requests that users refrain from placing such items as food wrappers, hanging file folders and 3-ring binders into the bins.
