What is the reference collection?

At the Macdonald-Kelce Library, physical books labeled "reference" can be found on the first floor of the library. Additionally, digital reference resources can also be accessed through Spartan Search by using the filter Reference Entries under Resource Type.
Reference typically refers to specialized dictionaries and encyclopedias suitable for academic definitions and background information. General information found on the open internet may need to be sourced from an authoritative source.
Some good reference resources available through the database collection are Oxford English Dictionary, Oxford Reference, AccessScience, and AccessMedicine.
